By Kaitlyn Grosz February 3, 2024

This weekend is Plymouth's 42nd Annual Ice Festival!  Fun for the whole family in the heart of Downtown Plymouth!

1. Spectacular Ice Sculptures

There will be over 60 amazing ice sculptures this year! Watch the talented ice artists display their techniques and tricks. Don't forget to take a picture sitting on the "Ice Throne"

2. Tubing Run

Back by popular demand! The tubing run features over 100 feet of tubing fun for the whole family!  Hours of operation are Saturday 11am to 9pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm.

3. Family Petting Zoo

This year's petting farm includes donkeys, goats, sheep, alpaca, and pony rides! The petting zoo will be at the festival on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

4. Festival Food

Enjoy warm fresh roasted almonds, mini donuts, and other yummy festival food! The "Hot Spot", located under the Gathering, has a sitting area where you can enjoy your food. The "Hot Spot" also features local vendors and face painting!

5. Ice Fest Bingo

Visit participating businesses, collect stickers, and win prizes!

While you're in Downtown Plymouth, check out some of our favorite businesses

  • Kilwins- Try their delicious, rich hot chocolate and grab a sweet treat for later! I recommend the chocolate peanut butter fudge.
  • E.G Nicks- Our favorite date night spot! Our favorite entrees are the Bourbon Pot Roast Nachos and Roadhouse Club. Need a parent's night out? Power Play Detroit will be performing in the parking lot behind E.G. Nicks on Saturday night.
  • Plymouth Coffee Bean- Grab some yummy coffee and enjoy the cozy, inviting atmosphere!
  • Plymouth District Library- The library has so much to offer for families! Storytimes, puzzles, a puppet theater, special events, and more. Your child won't want to leave!
